Prayer
We value prayer as an essential part of God's work.
Mission answers the question: "What business are we in?"
Many generations: That's who we are--believers from babies to those in their 100s.
Growing together in love: Iron sharpening iron as one generation disciples the next.
Connecting the next generation to Jesus: Reaching out to those in our circles of influence to connect the next generation of not-yet-believers to Jesus.
Vision answers the question: "What does God need us to do in the next 1-3 years to move toward achieving His mission?"
Inviting: Our nation, and our city, is largely unchurched. That means most have little-to-no background or understanding of Jesus, the Bible, or church. One-on-one invitations to "come and see" Jesus is not only how He reached others; it's a necessity in our times.
Neighbors: Just like in Jesus' Parable of the Good Samaritan, this makes us ask the question "who's my neighbor?". Neighbors are anyone in our circle of influence--friends, co-workers, our favorite barista or waiter, yes even our next-door neighbor. We believe the best way to love your neighbor as yourself is to point them to the One who can bring them hope and peace.
We will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the LORD, about his power and his mighty wonders. So the next generation might know them, even the children not yet born - and they in turn will teach their own children. So each generation should set its hope anew on God.
