Covid Information

Covid Protocols are changing on March 12, 2022

Brothers and sisters,

Thank you for praying for our Elders, staff, ministry leaders, search committee and response team during this time! Your prayers are gratefully received! Continue to look to Christ as our church continues to weather this time. Following public health recommendations, we are returning our building use policies to pre-COVID-19 guidelines beginning March 12. We will continue to have many opportunities to express patience and understanding for those whose outlooks are different than our own. In preparation to attend in-person service and church events, we suggest you mindfully consider the following situations:

As we remove the mask requirement for our building March 12, we welcome those with and without face masks. If you enter into a conversation with someone who prefers to wear a mask, how will you respond?

As there is a broad distribution of folks in our church (Christ's body has many parts, thanks be to God) we are requesting that the balcony seating be reserved for those wishing to wear a mask. Where will you choose to sit during the service?

As we continue to offer on-line service options, know you have many friends at FBC who would love to more deeply connect with you in a safe manner. What are some proactive ways to continue to invest in your church friendships?

As COVID-19 continues to be a constantly changing and ongoing reality in our world, while the public health risk due to the virus reduces, the personal health risk of a COVID-19 infection remains. What precautions are appropriate for you given your particular life factors? What precautions are suggested by your doctor?

As we continue to forge a head, let us give thanks that Christ is our guide! How can we show the love of Christ as we re-engage in a "new-normal" church?

Redeeming Father, atoning Son and indwelling Spirit: we thank you for the long and faithful love you have showered on the people of FBC.

We pray that as we emerge from the refining fire of the last 2 years the depth of our faith and friendships will reach new strength.

As COVID-19 leaves the spotlight we continue to pray for those who face it's reality on a daily basis; we pray that you would be with those infected, the family & friends of those with serious medical complications due to COVID-19 and for the doctors & nurses who tirelessly serve our community.

Looking to tomorrow we have great hope, not because of our wisdom, insight or cunning, but because of your faithful word that you will never leave or forsake us -- Thank you.
Amen
